We must learn to open our ears
To hear His voice say
“Beloved, please follow Me
I will show you the way.”

Don’t turn right or left
Without asking Him so
Following our own hearts
Is not the way to go.

We must keep our ears tuned
For His voice soft and still
Saying, “This is the way to go
Into My perfect will.”

“My perfect will for you,” He says
“Are the blessings I want to give
To you as you walk with Me
And daily for Me you live.”
