We peer at Your reflection
In a mirror so poor...
Understanding little about You
And feeling so unsure.

But someday we will see You
And You will be complete
Yes, face to face with You we’ll be
On the day that we meet.

Everything now is hazy and blurred...
All that we cannot understand...
We will see it so clearly
When before You we will stand.

The ache in our hearts will be gone
Over things where our understanding was nil
The frailty of our human mind
Will, alas, give to You our will.

We wait for that day
In eager anticipation
Knowing we will see Your holiness
At Your glorious revelation.
