The joy and rejoicing of my heart
Is Your Word that I have learned to love
I consume Your Word as my food
That You have sent from heaven above
Your Word is the true delicacy
This world cannot provide
It is the joy and rejoicing of my heart
And therein Your Word will abide
The joy and rejoicing of my heart
Is Your Word which helps me forgive
Your Word is my whole life
And for You only I want to live
Your Word is the book of love
That helps me a better person be
It is the joy and rejoicing of my heart
That You gave me so freely.
The world cannot provide the word
Which will give a lasting reward
The joy and rejoicing of my heart
Is the Word from the Lord.
