I’ll Hold Up Your Hands

I’ll hold up your hands
When in your battle you do tire
Or when your faith weakens
And you sink into life’s mire.

Yes, I’ll be there to help you
When the battle seems too long
Or your physical strength weakens
And you just can’t hold on.

I’ve been where you are
And others’ help I did need
They held up my hands for me
So in my battle I could proceed.

Others did help me
And they did stay close by
I fought until my battle was finished
Because others held my hands up high.

I’ll be there to hold up your hands
And others will help, too
God’s people will help one another
Because that’s what He teaches us to do.
