And I hold the scales. Man speaks of his justice But that system fails. In the world around When man’s vote is cast Wrong is often done A wrong that won’t last. For I, the Lord, love justice. I hate robbery and wrong. Harm is done to My children But to Me they still belong. I am there with My children Holding the scales in My hand. I will faithfully reward them When mistreated by man. How great is My reward When injustice is done. There will be no doubt Whose side I am on. I am on the side Of those loyal to Me. Great is their reward, When they serve me faithfully. A covenant I have made To never forsake Mine. I hold the scales in My hand And their balance is fine. Indeed, I hold the scales up high And their balance is pure. Let all look and see My justice is sure. |
