You want to be known

You will tell me things
That I need to do

I can’t waste my time
And not bend my ear...
Going about my business
Not caring if I hear.

I would suffer greatly
I would suffer lack
If I lived that way...
And that is a fact.

So, call me, My Lord,
And I will swiftly go
Into my aloneness
So more of You I will know.
